The Journeyman Gas Fitters Course is an eight week course given one night a week for
eight consecutive weeks. The purpose of the course is to assist people now engaged in
repairing gas appliances, installing gas appliances and interior house piping to prepare for
the State of Maryland or Baltimore County Gas Fitters Examination.
The course will cover:
The text being used is the National Fuel Gas Code ANSI Z223.1. Cost of book is included in
price of course.

The Master Gas Fitter Course is a seven week course that is given one night a week for
seven consecutive weeks. The State of Maryland requires that participants have held a
Journeyman Gas Fitter License for two years and have two years field experience. The
training will prepare the participants to take the State of Maryland or Baltimore County
Master Gas Fitter Examination.
The course will cover:
